i do very often take photowalks together with my girlfriend and we spend hours out on the streets, in the city and just explore. afterwards we kinda compare the ways we look at things. it's very interesting to see how other people see their…

Had this been a shot of a row of flowers without the people and the hanging things at the top of the photo, I would say the dof works nicely. Also, the white balance seems a little warm. I guess I'm just reiterating what everyone else already…

Fantastic idea and perspective. Is it just me or does the image appear a bit noisy?

Thanks for the responses - Bob, Ian and Mike. I haven't yet developed a sense for what constitutes good DOF and I've noticed that I tend to keep it very shallow all the time. Agree with you on the cropping.

I like it, i probably would like to see the people a little more in focus as they add to the overall mood of the photo. The colours may also be a little warm the whites appear a little cream to me and the reds a little orange but it hardly…

Nice color and DOF. The left corner up bothers me a little, but that's just me. Try some different angles next time if you haven't already. I may shoot our farmer's market after seeing this. Great shot.

Photowalking

Of late, I've been doing a lot of photowalks. They're great because I've found that I've dragged myself out to explore places that I otherwise wouldn't. Meeting other photography enthusiasts has been the highlight. I've also managed to shoot some fairly decent pictures over the weeks.

Thank you again, Deborah!  This is part of a State park called Putnam Park. It is part Revolutionary War museum and part trail system.  I can only do part of the trail system (back injury) but it is a really beautiful place!
