I like this shot. It does seem like she's leaning forward and looks a little uncomfortable. Nice background, I'd open up the aperture and shoot only one stop down from wide open to create a little more OOF background.. Very pleasant smile.…
Sure likes she is good at posing and keeping her balance too. IMO it's pretty busy and there's a lot competing with the subject. Maybe using a lens with a wide open aperture and creating more bokeh would help. Nice concept with the right…
Do you think it would look better with her posing with her arms not crossed. I am still working on telling my model how to pose. How would you have her posing? Thanks for your help :)
Nice composition here, although I would play with the contrast a bit around her face and maybe crop out the structure in the top right of the photo. Again, I have to ask, why are her arms crossed? Maybe try it with her hands on her hips or something…
Might I ask why her arms are crossed in both these photos? I like the composition of this one a bit more then your other one of her, especially with the water in the background here.
I'm going to agree with Brian here on this one. What I would do also for added effect is if you have an opportunity to re-shoot, I would off-center your main subject a bit more and have him look away from the camera rather then at the camera.
The first picture is far better. The second photo makes the model look as though he is about to fall over backwards. But in both pictures the lighting on the face is wrong and needs some post processing work. In fact in the first photo the face is…
I would experiment a little more with the flare, if that's what you're going after. Perhaps position the sun more behind the subject so that just a peek of light shines around. It would be quite as dominant. Nice idea. A lot of…
It doesn't look like that is the actual sun causing the flair, if it was the subjects shoulder would be blocking out part of the flair. Was this done with a mirror, and if so, what were you trying to convey with the photograph?
