My Photography Equipment:: I use a Nikon D40x
My Lenses are currently a 18-55 and a 55-200
I recently purchased filters for my camera and currently trying to figure out how they work.
I DON'T use a tripod although I do have one which I bought that broke and I fixed it to make it work.

Hi I'm Andrew Schneider. I am 17 years old and I live in NCI have been in photography for almost a year. I got into photography by joining a photo workshop in Guatemala with my mother while I was home schooled. I now currently go to Fletcher Academy. I am in love with everything about photography. I rarely edit my photos but occasionally I will. I love to travel and meet new people. Photography to me is just simply a pause button on everyones life captured in the moment. How Do I Sort My Photographs????????

I have a Question about Photography. I have over a thousand photographs on my computer. I am trying to put them in order to the type of photography they go in. What are the names and labels that I can have for my photos. Ranging from Portrait to Landscape. What Other ones please comment back to help me come up with some more. Thanks so much. I just finished putting up some unedited photographs I took and was wondering if you guys would care to comment on the photos. I really enjoy knowing what I can do better in some of these photos. I use my Canon EF 75-300 f/4-5.6 IS USM for those moon shots. Since the Canon 40D is not a full frame camera, it has a multiplier of 1.6. So that would make the 300mm range actually 120-480mm. The length of exposure for me depends on whether it is a full moon or a partial. Below is a sample setting from a full moon shot I took.

I have gone as low as 1/200 Sec before. I start a shutter speed I think is good and move accordingly after I take the shot and look at it. Hope this helps.
