I'm looking to buy my first digital SLR and i have found two that i like, but i cant decide which one. the SOny a350 and Nikon D80. I really like the Sony (not just because of the live view) but something is telling me to go with the Nikon.
im torn, any suggestion? id really apperciate it! thnx!

i tried out the vaseline technique today. well kind of. i didnt really photograph anything in particular. i just kind of did some test shots, you know to like test out to see how much vaseline to put on and stuff. it doesnt really look like anything in particular, kind snowy/smoky.

so i've got this new technique that i.m really eager to try out. you take a peice of glass or something transparent and smear vaseline all over. then shoot through the vaseline. its creates this kind of blurry pictorial-esque effect. i have the glass and the vaseline, im just waiting for the perfect image. I'm thinking something kind of romantic, probably in balck and white or sepia too. i'll post the pics as soon as i can...i have to take them first.......lol. let me know what you think!!
