Profile Information

About Me and My Photography Experience:: Born in (former) Yugoslavia during ww2 - on the Island of Korchula on the Adriatic, spent years in hiding with parents and then in Swiss camp - came to Israel at the end of 1948 and live here since.
Traveled as much as could.
Got my first camera from my Dad for 12th birthday, have thousands of photos made since then, My father had his first when he was 8 (1920) and loved photography, we both are self thought (it was either paying for lessons or traveling, choose traveling)
Got my first SLR 11 years ago and my firs Digital 3 years ago, still not sure which I like best, but day to day work is easier with Digital - so use it more now.
I would like to make better photos.
I try to choose the best of mine and upload them on my PC (picasa) it is time consuming and some times I think "What the hell for..." but keep on doing it, I love watching my photos.
I don't use photoshop, but I do crop or enhance colours of some of my faded photos

My Photography Equipment:: slr pentax
Dslr olympus

Usually I occupy one of the chairs during the day for a quick coffee and a chat in the local (very close to home caffee bar) but now, late night, they look soooo lonely and abandoned

Plus, they are working on photos taken during spring. I think you will find lots of posted photos starting in late August and September.

Right now am shy of committing myself to frienships, but would like, if you'll permit me to upload some of my photoes, and will be more than glad to have critique and comment on them, realy - iI want to do better as I love photography, no schooling what so ever, but I think I have good eye for details, so I realy need your help
