I'm taking the long road to becoming a photographer. Most of what I've learned is solely through experience. Photography seems to run in my family as my mother and two of my three sisters have fair to excellent skill behind the lens. I branched out to photo-editing (also self-taught) and hope to someday be a work-at-home mom, relying on a combination of graphic design and photography/portraiture.
My Photography Equipment:
I started seriously taking pictures in high school on disposable cameras and borrowed digitals. My first camera was a Cannon "flat film" 35mm with 10x optical zoom (where ever you are, camera, I hope you're still providing somebody beautiful pictures!) A few years ago I moved to a Kodak Easyshare with 14x digital zoom, which has since retired. My newest love is my Nikon D3100, but I think I miss my digital zoom. WTB new lens, 55-200mm is next on the list, along with a polarizing filter.
