My kind of town and shot....great shot for sure. Are you originally from Chicago? It is a great city, my home town and where I got my start in photography. I am new to this site and still getting my page set up. Yours is really nice.
I am a recent graduate of photography living, currently, in Nashville, TN. Ultimately I would like to do documentary photography but I'm not picky. I love all aspects of photography; large format, studio, documentary, you name it. Being behind a camera, getting THAT shot, that moment, that's what it's all about for me. I want to meet fellow photographers and I am ready to make the move from student to professional. Passion and dedication? Yes, I have it in spades...

To answer your question. No filters where used. Just a Nikon D80 with 18-135mm lens. Did not have the time to be swapping filters this day.
hahah sorry its taken me so long to write back. i'm laughing because loma linda is in southern california. always hot and dry here so those mountains i took a picture of are usually brown. about 2 months out of the year when we get rain they turn that beautiful green. its kinda funny :)
Hey - thanks for the feedback - it was shot in regular RAw then I just added a monochrome filter with plenty of red light and reduced green/blue. Gets the sky really black and the clouds nice and white.
thank you for your nice comment on my Miami photo. That was my first night shoot and I owe Richard for the exposure tips lol. I envy you having a 5D though LOL that's will be my next camera..just dont know when I can afford one LOL.
