Todays Tresspass...

Probably 25 times I have driven by this group of buildings. Often I've wondered what it was and what secrets it had to tell. What is this? It was in the old Cafeteria..Tomorrow I will Blog more photos... It turns out it's an old country school complex with Cafeteria and old outhouses, a library and classrooms I think I got some good pics... Come back tomorrow to see more!See More

Oh some city people bought the place. They feed the dog and swim in the fancy pool. The caretaker always makes sure the dog has food and water. The Owners are in DC during the week.

Little Slices Of Life...

This barn isn't really used.

The original house is long gone.

There is a below ground pool behind the new house.

The purebred german shepherd is kept in a single lonely modern concrete kennel.

He paces back and forth.

The barn is like a left over smudge of an old life that was carelessly erased before a new story and life were written.

I'm nostalgic for the old story.

I would like to see the original half breed… Continue

Hi Swaney3.
What I did on the Galveston Pier pic was in photoshop I created a duplicate layer and on that layer I used the radial blur filter set to zoom mode. This zoomed the whole photo but I used the erase tool to erase through the bottom part of the pic leaving only the sky as zoomed motion.
I also used the NIC Color Efex plug-in > Tonal Contrast to add more details to the bottom part and columns.

I hope this helps and let me know if you have any other questions.

Thanks
Terry
