Thank you Zuzana for viewing & posting your appriciation on my photo 'Tung Baba'. Thiis place in Himalyas (Indian Mountains) was a temple's courtyard. Is a great place to concentrate. The Baba (the person) was dressed only in one cloth, whereas we all were dressed in heavy winter clothings.
I could not bring the true view of majestic peaks in the background, it was too much glare, i was not equiped with proper filters.
Hello Zuzana ! Thank you for your words and for your love to the Ukraine...It is very pleasantly to me.. And I very glad we have very nice frogs...:) I like all your photos ..You are really artist. Best wishes !
Thank you Zuzana for the information about your photographs. They are beautiful. You really have an eye for composition and subject matter. I do remember hearing about the giant chessboard in Salzburg. You explanation of the shot is a reminder of how easily things change and how important it is to capture the moment when it happens. I had a wonderful time visiting my son, daughter and five of my grandchildren in Georgia. This was the first time I had met two of my grandsons. One of them is three years old and the other ten months. Most of the photos that I took were of family, so I will not be posting them on the site. Family photos are private for me and best left to personal files. I will continue to search the photos and see if there are any more to post.
Best regards, Dan
Hi Zuzana, You are right about having a camera with you at the right moment. When I traveled to visit my family, I carried my camera on the plane with me and I am so glad I did. This shot was taken between cloud layers. What looks like hills below the sun are actually the tops of clouds. I am glad you enjoyed my photo and I appreciate your comments.
Best regards, Dan

Ďakujem za krásne komentáre, je mi to trošku smešne písať si po anglicky :) takže teraz to dávam po Slovensky. Tvoje fotky sú tiež úplne super a teším sa na ďalšie. Prajem pekný večer a ešte raz díky. Určite zostaneme v kontakte :)
Thank you Zuzana for viewing and appriciating my photos.

Thank you Zusana for your comments on my photos from the Oregon coast. The beaches along that part of the country are amazingly rugged and beautiful. When the fog comes in, it adds an interesting effect. I have enjoyed seeing your most recent photographs and look forward to seeing more when you return from your journeys.
Thanks for your nice comments. The evil child's toy was painted by my son when in his early teens as a joke, but it makes an impression so I just threw it in for fun.
Thank you for your comment on my photo of Fern Canyon. It is a little difficult to get to, but worth the effort. Your photo "Evening Colours" is a wonderful composition. You are right about late afternoon sun. Early morning is great also, but I have a hard time getting up before sunrise!
If I have my directions correct, go south from the Charles Bridge. I believe it is 2 bridges down you can take some stairs down to the river and walk along the docks there. As you do that on your left would be a very tall wall the goes up to the road above. Along there is where I found the statue of the boy climbing. Yes I did see the hanging man... very funny.. ;) I definitely loved Prague and want to go back.
And you have an amazing website too.....been to many of the same places in Kyiv.....I have been to the Folk Architectural Museum 5 times in winter (February and March, May)....and of course all the church.....even O'Brien's Pub....on St. Patricks Day....I'm Irish of course....Holy Obligation....me and 6 Irish men and women....and Irish band and a bunch of Ukrainians who wonder who St. Patrick was! I will read your website thoroughly when I have time....getting ready for the trip to Moldova....
And two dear friends in Kyiv (Alex and Sergey ....twin brothers) spend a lot of time in Prague....love to visit there also.....it is where Alex learned English!
