Dan Tubbs, Jr. said… Thank you Zuzana for your comments on my photo, "Woman is the Garden." This was taken on our trip to New England. I don't think the woman even realized I took her photo. She was completely engrossed in her gardening. We visited a place called Sturbridge Village that looks like a small town from the 1850's. This was the best of three shots.

Dan Tubbs, Jr. said… Thank you Zuzana for your comment on my photo of the Washington Monument. We had a wonderful week in Washington, DC and then one week in New England. We had a chance to see a lot of historical sites. I have over 1,000 photographs and I am in the process of converting them from RAW to JPEGs.
Best regards, Dan

Dan Tubbs, Jr. said… Hi Zuzana, Thank you for your comments on "Flowers in a Victorian Vase." That photograph was taken in our upstairs guest room. The table is in a bay window with lace curtains and the sun was shining through the windows. The flowers were there for a home tour we were part of to raise money for our local museum. My wife put flowers in every room of the house.
It has been very sunny here on the north coast of California. The eastern half of the country is buried in snow, but we are almost at sea level and near the ocean, so we do not get snow. There is snow in the mountains to the east of us and in spite of the sun, the temperature almost gets down to freezing at night. Our weather is a lot different than that of our friends in southern California.
Your snow is beautiful, but not if you have far to travel in it. I hope you have a great weekend.
Best regards, Dan
