The Photography Network - PictureSocial

Probably the best hobby in the world :)

Good pictures are to me the soul's expression of conveying to the outside world how it values and embrace the beauty of nature and the things in it's environment that no words can ever match of how it truly feels. Through the pictures that we saw, we are truly captivated and in awe by it's composition even though we don't really know the photographer behind it. We felt his enthusiasm to capture the scene, we felt his efforts to truly bring out the best in what is usually just a common sight. We are drawn to the image that is in front of us. Our minds wander, recalling experiences from our past and creating stories that we often believed as fantasies.Seems like, to embrace that art of photography exposes our truly humane characters, we learn to value beauty, felt kindness, generate respect towards each other and the environment in general. It carries these effect to bridge the gap or break down the walls between humanities. I guess, photography is indeed a good therapy for the soul and the body..happy clicking! :)

Bob,

Thank you. Yes sadly, there are those among us who are lost in finding what supposedly the meaning of photography I guess. It is a misconception that is being justified over and over again until it becomes a way of life. Glad to know that there are still people like you who are well rounded on this subject and expresses the same feeling as I do. There is this old saying that goes "Our eyes are the windows of our soul" and by saying that I guess, the camera would fit in as the tool that tells about the kind of souls we have then, through the pictures we captured and how we present them to our viewers. :) May you have a fulfilling day ahead..

John - A well stated and heart felt blog. Too many people feel that they have the right to use their camera as means to be intrusive, trespass, snoop, pry, black-mail, and just do vile evil things with it. However, on the other side of this coin there is those of us who see the good, the beauty, the blessings, that comes from sharing and experiencing those very things, each of us brings to the table. Thank you for having the where-with-all to bring to the surface those feelings, thoughts and ideas I've had for years. Yes, keep the "happy clicking."

Many blessings

Bob
