This photo caught my eye today and also generated some argument on another site about whether it was in fact real or "edited" in photoshop. Some people deny that it is real because (scientifically speaking) people should not be able to see the "end" of a rainbow:
Some other people said:
"It must be fake. The optical properties of the water in the air create a relative refraction of light based on the angle to the sun, water and you ( like a mirror, every position you look at it you see something else however the further you are away the less the effect ). If you go outside with a garden-hose and make a rainbow, you will see that it will change positions as your head moves."
"This is fake. A real rainbow is circular and only appears in arcs relevant to viewing perspective. A real rainbow has no end."
