Incredible Mountain Goat Risks Life to Lick Rock - Photo

This photo was taken by G. Hutcheson who said: "I have no idea how this Mountain Goat, Oreamnos americanus, managed to get down. I was there for more than an hour and it kept licking away at the mineral in the rock. It was a sheer drop below, there was no apparent way up or sideways. But then other’s did some amazing feats of climbing that the best mountain climbers would be envious of. Goat Lick Overlook, Glacier National Park, MT"

Such a great picture!

I wonder if you have contact with the photographer as I would love to buy a higher resolution copy one for a large print in my house.

Thank you!

Very good photograph of an amazingly athletic mountain goat. Good highlight detail for (presumably) digital. As an old Kodachrome 25 shooter, I've admired the shadow detail obtainable with digital but found the highlights generally less wonderful.

Your colour space is sub optimal for your printer, which is sRGB. 'Convert to profile' for sRGB and then give it another shot. If it's still a problem look at your colour settings and try Colour Management off. It should work just fine using standa…
