Well, there comes a time in every photographer's life when you say to yourself..."Self...we need better equipment!".

I am no exception to this, and as such have just purchased a Nikon D300 with the MD-10 grip, SB600 flash, 18 - 200mm and 50mm 1.4 lenses. I have another shoot tomorrow night, and I just got back to Oklahoma last night from a weekend event shoot for the television show "Two Wheel Oklahoma".

It was a great rally, but I dropped my motorcycle at one point and was bummed about it. I wasn't hurt in the incident, but I did find that I seem to have the instincts of a mexican jumping bean. My friends were laughing at me, saying that I cleared 15 feet easy when I jumped off the bike. =)

During the rally I found some ruins from a castle that was built in the 1920s and had been burnt down in a fire. It was an amazing place and I took almost 200 pictures of that alone. Once I get some of them processed, I will post some pics.

More to come....

I am LOVING the D300!!! I got it last night and did a pinup shoot with it. The difference between it and my olympus are pretty astounding. =)
