Update: Garage Studio Setup

Well, it is up and running (though I found my DIY softbox is too weak even with a 300 watt buld and a single layer of rip stop nylon for diffusion). The reflector / bogen lights that I have work great. I mounted a 12' rod with a king size, pure white, sheet as the backdrop.

I have resigned myself to going and picking up a built set of softboxes. I would also like to pickup some umbrellas and new strobes. If anyone has suggestions on the brand of lights, speak now, or forever hold your peace. =D Just kidding, I would appreciate a bit of steerage where type of lights are concerned.

I have found that the Bogen's easily overpower the camera if I don't bounce the strobe.

My next thing is to either install laminate flooring or paint the concrete, and then install a Chromakey Green screen for shooting video. Need it for the show. =)
