Hi Aamir, the only training I've had is in orthopaedics! No training in painting and photography. It is always good to learn from experiences from other people and in present day and age it is not difficult with wide access to net related material. I worked with Pakistanti artist Sadequain for three years during my medical college time and had to discontinue as I moved to UK (I still regret losing contact with him as he was such a source of inspiration for me and I learned so much in calligraphy and sketching from him, not realizing he would have died so young). I do paintings only as hobby and do not sell. Photography is my long passion and with digital photography, there's additional benefit of post-processing...your pictures are very nice and inspirational. What equipment do you use? I'm sure there will be plenty to learn on your pages...I personally don't post many pics on this website as I feel within a matter of few minutes the pictures are burried deep in the pile of new pictures and no one comments again unless he or she specifically sees the pics (this is unlike facebook where any comment makes the picture reappear on the main screen again for everyone to read the comment). Anyhow, good to hear from you and I hope to continue my learning more from your experiences...

Hi Aamir, I received a friend request from you yesterday and I have happily accepted it. I have had a brief look at Art of Photography group and I'm sure it's a nice place to talk about photography as art. I would be interested in knowing more as I am both a keen photographer and an artist and having little time to paint as I would like to, I spend time in looking for art in photography..I'm an orthopaedic surgeon by profession! Hope to learn more from your experience...

I especially like your portraits, they are very intense with nice lighting and show that there is much beauty and grace in an aged face.Proud to be your friend!

Thanks for posting such great shots, there were so many I admired for the 'story' they portrayed.  I like what you're doing with texture and your portraits are fantastic.

Thanks Aamir Bhai for the invitation. I have read you article on textures it will broaden my view on what makes a photograph must try this out. This is how to make simple subjects come to life.

Thanks for kindness of your compliments. The idea of my photographic view is upon the concept you mentioned in your comment:

If it is ordinary, try it to be recognizable; If it is extraordinary, let it scream the message it conveys.

Otherwise, is there anything worthy to be photographed?
