Thank you for the welcome Dan! And believe me, I do understand when you say it is hard not to "back pat", because I have run across quite a few photographers where this statement applies. No worries there. What irritates me more then anything though is when the obvious is overlooked and everyone that comments is back patting and not one of them bothered to point out that crooked horizon, or the "gremlin" in the corner. I call them gremlins, you know, that something that slips into the image before you click the shutter? You see, when I started posting my stuff online, I had one gentlemen who picked apart every image I posted, no matter how wonderful I thought it was, everyone else was too busy telling me how wonderful my work was. So with each click of the shutter, I vowed that I would not give this man a "pick" on any of my images, it made me a better artist.
Anyway, I am here for some exposure, maybe getting my name out there, and to help wherever I can. If you need anything, just give me a holler.
Thank you Dan for your kind words of support, its nice to hear something like that when you hear it from someone whos been taking photos for over 50 years ..... Ive been taking them as a hobby for only a year now so Ive so much to learn.
Those boats are very fast! lol Still nicely captured!
I am getting stronger everyday, and hope to be removed from my restrictions, soon! (Driving, bending, lifting, and twisting!) You kinda feel like a caged animal sometimes, but it is better than it was, so I'm not complaining! lol
Hey Dan! Thank you for your comment! I'm going to drive to Canada next week and I'm quite sure I'll be driving the hwy 101 again. I'm still not sure whether to leave from SF the 15th or the 17th but I'll definitely let you know!
