new technique
so i've got this new technique that i.m really eager to try out. you take a peice of glass or something transparent and smear vaseline all over. then shoot through the vaseline. its creates this kind of blurry pictorial-esque effect. i have the glass and the vaseline, im just waiting for the perfect image. I'm thinking something kind of romantic, probably in balck and white or sepia too. i'll post the pics as soon as i can...i have to take them first.......lol. let me know what you think!!

Comment by Patricia on June 8, 2008 at 10:39pm - I remember using that technique back in the 70/80s. It was especially popular with portraits but you left the central part of the glass filter clear of Vaseline.
