first one is me trying to be creative and the second is a self portrait. i had it in color but i accidentally saved over it. any help on fixing these pictures is appreciated thanks!
Hi,
I really like the first one. It almost looks like a painting. Maybe clone out the blob in the bottom right corner. All in all nice picture! Good work
Christina, one suggestion applies to both images, Fill more of the frame with the subject matter. first photo you have to decide which is more important to your viewer, the sky or the crucifix, if it's th sky, it need to be more dramatic, if it's the crucifix get in tighter and show me what is special about this particular crucifix. I sure you can do that.
Second photo, Much harder for someone trying to do SELF portrait. Show me somthing unique that I would want to know. You have a very pretty Face, perhaps get in closer to show me just how pretty you are. If it's some other attribute that is is important to your self image, then find a way to make that important in the image. YOU are the artist, your image should MAKE me see what it is that you want me to look at. I can tell in this image but you probably have attractive hands, try including this in an image that is tight enough to see detail. If you want to do a whole body shot then it should stand out from the background and be more prominent than anything else in the image.
You have grab on to your self confidence and throw out some of your inhibitions about revealing your character, to be a great photographer. I know you can do it.
aw thanks guys much appreciated... ill get to work on fixing these up. i really wish ididnt override the color photo of me. but i looks like i have to spend more quality time with my pictures and really "see" them
