REMINDERS...

Nikon has been renowned for high-quality optics and camera equipment since they were founded in 1919. The history of Nikon cameras began in 1948, the year that the Nikon I, the company's first camera was released. Today Nikon continues that legacy with an outstanding line of digital SLR (single lens reflex) cameras including the D80, D300 and the new D3.

This group is a place for users of all Nikon digital SLR cameras to share their experiences, demonstrate techniques through example, and discuss Nikon's latest offerings.

CAUTION: Camera brand debates will not be tolerated in this group. Do not post "Canon vs Nikon or Pentax vs Nikon" threads. Do not ask which camera is better (exceptions on Nikon Cameras only). Discussions of this type will be promptly deleted.

As much as possible, I would like the members in this group to be active so that may people will more become interested in joining the group.

Cheers!~
Maeda

Hello, every Nikon user.I`m very happy that to joint Nikon Group. I just bought Nikon D80 2 weeks ago. I`m a beginner, so still a lot to learn. By the way, does anyone can share your experience about how to capture sunset or need to use some equipment. Or any experience about photography. Many thanks.

Happy New Year Nikonians! My most recent post was a question regarding "stacking" to which I received nil, none and zilch response. I have figured it out now but not yet put the process into use. Went off the rails a little before Xmas and went looking at "digiscoping" as another aspect of this great hobby. Now there is a way of disposing of your income!...I'll check back later...Mulgabill

I use a D300 and I'm about to buy a new Nikkor 18-200mm lens. Does anyone have comments about the lens?

I am planning to buy a D80 with the intent of doing wildlife pictures. Because I don't have a lot to spend, I am thinking of buying The body, and a18-200/3.5-5.6 DX. I would like to have some feedback on my choice, and answer a question . Will it accept a tele-extender?
