Left or Right...??

I NEED HELP..Canon or Nikon?

As I use the SP550 more I find that most of the drawbacks have become minor. For some reason the batteries are lasting longer; maybe I wasn't charging them fully or something. As i learn more about... Read More »

Multnomah Falls

A while back I was hiking with my son in the Columbia River Gorge. "My goal is to take the best photo of Multnomah Falls ever taken by anyone," I told him.
Well, I haven't succeeded at that yet, but I've tried, and this is my best one so far.

Be sure to take a look at my albums. Click on the "Photos" button above, then click on "All Albums." Then look down through for the words "Donald Mark."

Or you can go to

and see them all there, perhaps more easily.

Thanks for looking, It is a demonstration bird, he is a little seedy and probably would rather be aloft. A broken wing does not permit that but he eats well!

Hi Donald, thanks for your comment and it helps when my canon 20d shoots 5fps so ater taking about 15 shots I got about 3 that were timed just right as you mentioned.

Cheers!

I Googled Church of God in Cadillac, and the address is 534 Aldrich. Maybe our address was 515 instead of 1515. Our house was just across the street from the church. But it was an old house 70 years ago, so has probably been replaced. I'm 77 now, so I went to school there 72 years ago. But if Google knows what it's talking about, the church is still there. This is fun.

I doubt if any of the school building I went to is still there. It was pretty old 60 years ago; when I visited Cadillac in 1978, the building was still there but was no longer being used. So I imagine it's long gone. 1515 Aldrich was still there in 1978, as was the church across the street, the Nabisco building, which looked abandoned, and the railroad spur. Things do change and I would be surprised if anything I remembered were still there. Are you going to photograph fireworks on the Fourth? It fun to do. Thanks for the message. I rarely talk to young people anymore, and really miss it. I was a teacher for 30 years and enjoyed working with kids.

yeah.. it is a small world, lol
but was it just one little building next to a basket ball court that was the Cass School?
cause now that little building is only a few classes and then there's the high school and junior high school connected together across the street from the little building. pretty crazy how things have changed.
