Where are you from?: Baton Rouge, Louisiana USA but live in Abbeville, LA. now for over 12 years

About Me:: I work in the Oil and Gas Industry of the Gulf of Mexico area as a Construction Consultant. I got my first Digital SLR almost 2 years ago. I hold a General Class Amatuer Radio License, next to Photography my other passions are Nascar and Motorsports in general. I love the outdoors very much and most of my photography is done outside but I would like to try portraits one day and Macro

I needed a Canon lens, though (70mm-210mm) and so I went on Ebay and got a real nice for under $30. The guy threw in a flash unit too, so I'm set. My other flash unit was broke.

I took a few pics of some frogs in our pond. I'll take more pics soon as it's finally getting a little green around here. I'm sick of Winter shots! I have to change my MySpace page too!

I've been swamped with Auction stuff here at work. Tomorrow I have one more shoot to do for the Pocono Mountain documentary. It will air May 12th.

I have only two more weeks of web design class ;( I 'll have to keep busy this summer by creating a "resume website" for me. I think it will be fun! There are some other classes I'd like to take in the Fall (PHOTOSHOP!) but I have to see if it will fit into my work schedule. Right now, my class is an evening class. Photoshop may be during the day...like 11am or noon...hard to get to and from class from work...I'd have a lot of time to make up at work. I will have to think about it.

Regarding the "After the dark, comes the light" photo it was taken on the plane couple minutes before the sunset. I was expecting a sunset from the plane but the weather was very cloudy, so I came a across with these clouds with a bit of sunlight and I thought it would make a great photo, so I ended up taking that photo instead of sunset =)

I shot that picture last May 5th at about 5:00 pm. Shutter speed was set at 1/2 sec...aperture setting was f/22. ISO was set at 100 and there was no Exp. Comp. used. Of course I used a tripod...TY
