How in the world do you photograph outdoors in Needles? :o)
I see we use the same equipment, and, like a pro told me: It's not the equipment, it's the vision of the photographer. Keep shooting and see the compositional possibilities in everything!

You don't like dogs do you?haha, very good shots of them and your other pics are great.
You seem to understand the principles very well. My style of photography is much different than yours, but I enjoy your photos immensely.
Your pics need some work if u don't mind saying in composition, think of the rule of thirds and apply that on your next shoot. About the girl she needs to be styled and have her hair done as well as her make up it will make a big difference. Best of luck and the 200 sounds like a great idea.
If the model is new you are going to have to take charge and show her what you want. You should be taking ideas from magazines and showing the model more or less what you want and from there just get a feel on how it's going. If you get an experienced model then let her just do her thing but mostly i have found out it's best to let them know what you want. Hope that helps
