Everyone is eager to give advice and criticism when you ask, as well as praise on your great work. There are many groups that you can join like the Canon and Nikon users, and Flower and Plant groups. Take a look around and see where you can fit in. Join as many groups as you like. Learn from observing others works. Participate in areas you like and contribute to discussions. Add a blog, comment on others work on their pages and photos. A sister site is picturecorrect.com where you can see camera reviews and many subjects about photography. Most of all, enjoy these two sites
By tightening up on your subject matter your photography will take on much more visual impact. I'd say on average you would be very well served to exclude about 30% of the scene area from many of your photographs. You have good strong subject matter but it loses prominence when there is too much 'space' surrounding it.
Have a look at any 12 of your photos and see what happens if you crop them 5, 10, 20 per cent. You'll like what you see, guaranteed.
btw, we have a Nikon Users Group. If you're interested in joining you can find it under "groups" tab on the main page.
