About Me:: I've had an interest in photography since the late sixties. Did some darkroom work (black and white) in the early seventies and then got very busy with work and volunteer activities and photography was placed on the back burner. Took early retirement in 2003 and took up photography as a hobby. I've been playing with digital photography since then. Trying to learn as much as I can about photography and still trying to get at least one "great" photo. I may not have as much time now though since I accepted a job offer this morning and will be starting work next Monday (May 19).

Our history goes back only to the 1840s but is rich in adventure. Much of the area is rural with lots of Natural Wonders to enthrall the casual tourist.
