I've been to this website before after a I had done a search for something that I can't remember. I ended up on it again from a link in a tutorial today so I thought I would share it with you. Hello Lori, How are you? Missed you around here. Things are pretty good. Spring is finallllllly here. Lilacs and honeysuckle are flowering and the bumble bees are having a field day. When we sit on the screen porch the buzzing is quite loud.

Are you about done for the year? I haven't seen much traffic from your way so looking forward to seeing some.

We are leaving the 9th for Newfoundland. Can't wait. Bought an extra 2GB for the camera so....many photos to work on when I get back. Picture Social is growing very fast. almost 2000 members. Throw out about 100 or so but looking at many pictures requires a great deal of time. Lori, I am amazed at the talent out there! I sought out a new member who is 17. My goodness does he have talent. He has the eye. His name is Oliver Townsend. Look at his work, he is on the latest member page and his pic is green and black.

I sincerely hope you have a wonderful summer and I cannot wait to see more work from your way. Take care. Elmer

lori, about your flower pictures. I don't like direct sunlight. I do like shadow or overcast light. Also, we have the same camera but I use my 28-135 lens because it has the image stabilization to take care of my tremors. (used to smile at my grandfather when eating peas) Not so funny now. (.-D

Hi Lori, I hope all is well. I have the same camera but not the same lens. I am curious to know how often do you use your EF 28-135/3.5-5.6 lens and is it worth the investment? I am thinking about purchasing that lens and also the 85mm lens.

Hi Lori, Glad to hear that everything is going OK. We are now getting some spring like weather. The snow is quickly melting but everything is still very wet. Cannot go into the woods yet because of the snow but should be OK in a couple of weeks. Take care. Elmer

Hi Lori, where have you been? Miss your comments. I am commenting back to the flower beds....My wife plants them many from seed and many perennials. She weeds and mulches them and I get to photograph and delight from them. How good is that? These were made over 10 to 18 years. One of my favorite things to photograph are flowers. Someday, notice in your travels that there are so many with five petals......Has something to do with Bible Scripture. Again, I miss your comments.
