Originally from michigan, Louisiana, North Carolina, virginia in that order
About Me:
retired bulding contractor, love to travel, hiking and exploration, love nature photography. Married to a great lady who shares my interests, except for the part that involves taking pictures but enjoys my results. Took my first pictures with a waist level twin lens box camera 65 years ago (yes they were picures of dinosaurs)
What Photography Equipment do you Use?
just purchased canon S5 IS, Dell computer W/ Photoshop elements, paintshop pro, Nova Photo Explosion, Epson Stylus Photo 1280 printer (13"x19" plus roll paper), HPscanjet G3010, HP935 .

again this is not comparing apples to apples. with an 18 to 300 is in fact a 16 x ratio but normal starts around 55 so you are yielding less than 6x magnification , a 70 to 210 strs out at 1.27 mag... Read More »

jadeast was that waist level a Camera a Rolex. Never used one my brother in law used his dad old one I think it was a 2x2 format took great pictures Neal

After reading your comments on photo 100_0506 I went back and re-shot the building a couple of times. I added 3 different views and noted the one I think is best. Please take a look at them and see if I made any improvement Thanks Neal
