I have been thinking. What if you set your DSLR to auto bracket for an HDR image and your shooting a panoramic. Could you possibly merge each individual HDR into one file each, then merge each one ... Read More »

that smoke shot is good stuff - you gotta remember, this stock stuff is all a game. there are so many factors. i get rejections like that sometimes, and i just have to laugh and keep going. what one or two sites dont take, usually the third site will. its all just a bunch of hoops you have to jump through.

Shutterstock got tough all the sudden - keep trying dude. Keep trying on istock as well, that site makes the most sales for me.

panohouse looks cool - im going to wait and see if I hear anything about it. There are so many new startups - I'm already on about 17 sites, I think I need to start to weed out some of the duds pretty soon. Take out some of the time wasters.

oh, definitely man...Fotolia's standards aren't as tough as iStock. iStock frustrates me, yet I still keep upload, since the sales there are so good. They do try and push us all to the next level though. FT is one of my top earners right now though.

I am loving Mostphotos - no reviews at all, ever! PLus you can download your images anytime, free. It's a great way to host your files, even if they don't sell. Few friends of mine have sold some though- and they pay in Euros. 1 euro = $1.59 i think USD. Here is the link to my gallery so far http://www.mostphotos.com/graficallyminded

keep at it man. i try and add like 10 a week to all my sites, at least...its hard but i make myself do it. these images will continue to sell until you're retirement age, its amazing. I still sell images that I've uploaded 2 years ago. Last year, all I did was added my existing portfolios to a few new micro sites, and 100 fresh images to all of the sites im on - and I pulled in 4 figures a month. It's worth the effort. you will learn what sells better and what just sits there, you just have to experiment.
