Bats... unfortunately no luck but that because I don't have the equipment and a bit short on funds to get a better lens or flash gun. When I do then I'll upload the pics. Let me know if you do it, I'd love to see some photos.

Diane, Thank you so much for your kind comments on some of my photos. I appreciate that you took the time to view them. I think you are right in your comment to me...I will learn much from the many people here on PictureSocial who are willing to share their knowledge and their experience with each of us who is willing to learn. Will be watching for new posts from you.

I noticed on several of your pictures of birds that you need to get up a bit closer, leave the background and shoot for better contrast.. Effect would be enhanced I believe.. I shot one once of a butterfly. You can see it on my site,a nd I took it from 5 feet away (because butterflies are nervous animals), with a 70-300 mm zoom, left the flower it was on and shot for the butterliflies face ansd wings.. You might consider it.. Great work on some of the animals and on the old barns, cars, etc.

Yeah Diane, the stitching on the panoramas is primarilt PS Elements with a little cloning and Paint brush tool thrown in. Virtually all the reflecting pools and ponds are pretty hand manipulated. I Took a few art (oils , acrylics and pastels) courses when I wasn't involved in Theater or Dance, so I have a fairly sound standing in art, which I think helps In photography. Normally we here aren't but about two weeks ahead of you weatherwise. but this year we are way ahead of you there. I was just watering some shrubs I planted today and a ruby throated hummigbird kept darting in and out of the spray and they aren't normally here for another month. My wife has a 6 day weekend starting today so we're trying to get ready to go to the mountains, to look for some land for a cabin. I'll drop another line when we get back. You have a great weekend in the meantime. J D

Forgot to wish you luck on getting your camera back, I hope you don't need it. I sent one back (a 35mm) to Pentax 9 times and they never did get it right. I finally bought another camera. GOOD LUCK!!
